Laland Baptiste has been hired to provide Construction Supervision for the reconstruction of the fencing, sidewalks, and parking lot of Jamaica, Queens’ Idlewild Park, which is home to one of NYC’s largest remaining saltwater marshes. The goal of this project is to maintain the area as a nature preserve.
Our team is also responsible for tree protection, performing daily stormwater pollution and prevention plan inspections, photo documentation, daily and weekly reports, and all Administrative Services necessary for the project’s successful completion and close-out.
We always appreciate when we have an opportunity to improve and maintain our nature preserves, and ensure they are protected and accessible for nearby residents.
The photos show the park prior to the start of our work. Look out for updates soon!
