Michael Licata, P.E., Vice President, has nearly 30 years of experience in construction, engineering, and management, and brings extensive expertise across civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines. As Vice President and Project Executive, he supports Laland Baptiste’s strategic operations and organizational growth while overseeing the planning and execution of complex infrastructure projects, including educational facilities and municipal resiliency and modernization initiatives.
Prior to joining Laland Baptiste, Licata served as Assistant Vice President at WSP, where he led client management and business development efforts across the New York metropolitan area. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President at The LiRo Group.
Licata is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York and in multiple states and is also a licensed contractor in Louisiana. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Hofstra University and a Certificate in Building Electrical System Design from New York University. Licata serves as a member of the Engineering Industry Advisory Board at Hofstra University.
