Each of the project sites included the installation of UV Light and Bipolar Ionization of the Air Handling Units, installation of HEPA Filtration Units in Dental Clinics, replacement of steam coils and humidification systems, and replacement of damper units in different locations in Queens and Brooklyn, New York. The teams worked in mechanical spaces, and active and 24/7/365 occupied spaces. To deliver the accelerated schedule the team worked in mechanical spaces during daytime and in occupied spaces during nights and weekends. Electrical and HVAC shutdowns were scheduled with the facility managers and carefully coordinated with operating room schedules. All of the team members implemented stringent COVID-19 protocols and Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) procedures.
